Several of the performances on this program are
taken from both the
2001 Reflections in Steel concert which took place at
Brooklyn College in New York, and the 2003
Vibrations in Steel Christmas Concert at the Wingate High
School Auditorium in Brooklyn. New York's Pantonic Steel Orchestra
performed at both concerts, and it is their performance of
"O Holy Night" which
starts off the musical
Season's Greetings in Steel on this edition of
Cool Steel.
The selection from the last edition of
Cool Steel
which got the most votes, submitted by email to
panradio@panonthenet.com, was "People
Make The World Go Round" by
Nicholas Mohan from the USA.
Voted in at #2 and #3 respectively, were Phase II Pan Groove
from Trinidad & Tobago with "Billie
Jean," and
USA's Pantonic Steel Orchestra with "Piece
Ah Pork"
