Semi-Finals time for Single Pan Bands - Trinidad & Tobago Steelband Panorama 2012

Global - Thirty-two Single Pan Bands will face the judges as the National Panorama Single Pan Bands Semi Finals get underway at the Larry Gomes Stadium Car Park, Malabar, Arima in Trinidad, on Saturday 11th February 2012, from 6:00 p.m.  Admission is TT $60.00.

PanOnTheNet 2012 Panorama logo 200At the conclusion of the semi-final round, sixteen (16) steelbands shall be selected by order of merit to compete in the Petrotrin National Panorama Single Pan Bands (and Small Bands) Finals on Thursday February 16th 2012, at Skinner Park, San Fernando. That competition begins at 6:00 p.m.

For the purposes of the competition, each participating steelband may select and perform any calypso, as long as the same selection has not been played by the said steelband in a previous Panorama competition.

First out of the gates is Gonzales Sheikers with their rendition of “Play Yourself” arranged by Clive Telemaque, composed by Clive Telemaque and sung by Crazy. They will be followed by Brimblers, Marsicans and St. James Tripolians in that order.
