Nostrand Symphony playing “Ethel” was the first of seventeen Single Pan bands taking the stage.  Woodbrook Playboyz wrapped up the category, with competitors looking to cop the title with its prize purse of TT $200,000.00 and dethrone the 2012 champs San Juan East Side Symphony.

Merrytones Steel Orchestra in the small steel orchestra segment were last on stage early Friday morning by 3:06 a.m.; results came less than ten minutes later for the  Single Pan Band category.  No band was able to wrest the championship from San Juan East Side Symphony, which claimed the 2013 title and TT $200,000.00, making it a hat-trick - three titles in a row - for the band.   Full results are below.
