Global - Steel pan music connoisseurs are in for a delightful treat with the release of the DVD of the National Trinidad & Tobago Single Pan & Small Steel Orchestra Finals. The DVD captures the sights and sounds of the competition that was staged at Skinner Park in San Fernando, Trinidad, earlier this year.
Produced, recorded and mastered by KMP Music Lab, San Fernando, the double-disc package is a collaborative effort with Pan Trinbago. It is a fantastic collection of the performances and music of the sixteen Single Pan Bands and ten Small Steel Orchestras as they vied for the coveted titles in their categories.
This DVD is a welcome addition to the catalogue of pan music and a great reminisce. A limited number of copies are available at Pan Trinbago in Trinidad and selected music stores.
This release joins two previous 2014-Panorama media collections - the 2014 Panorama Finals DVD featuring medium and large steel orchestras, and a CD compilation highlighting final night performances.
