Trinidad & Tobago, W.I. - The year 2023 sees the return of competitions Pan Down Memory Lane and Pan in the 21st Century organized by Pan Trinbago, after a years-long absence. From May 19 through 25, thirty-eight single pan bands from the Eastern, South/Central, Northern and Tobago regions performed in the preliminary leg of Pan Down Memory Lane at respective venues in their communities.
Twelve bands originally were expected to perform in the June 11 finals. However with a four-way-tie in tenth position, thirteen competitors will now compete on stage at the Queen's Park Savannah in Port-of-Spain, where the start time is scheduled for 6:00 p.m.
The full preliminary results for Pan Down Memory Lane are shown below.
The panyard/communities judging for Pan in the 21st Century start tomorrow Saturday May 26, with the conventional steel orchestras in the East region up first. Perfect Cadence from Bon Air Gardens in Arouca is first on the schedule.
