Grenada Panorama 2024 Results - New Dimension Steel Orchestra Retains
Championship with Arranger Cordel Byam
St. George’s, Grenada, W.I. - Another win was racked up by the top steel orchestra in Grenada at the annual steelband Panorama competition. Playing Mr. Gold’N’s In Me Head arranged by Cordel Byam, this is the fourteenth championship for New Dimension, and the third for Byam in the country’s senior competition.
On Saturday August 10 at the Kirani James Athletic Stadium eight bands took the stage in the music fiesta, with seven attempting to dethrone the then-title defenders. Angel Harps which last won Panorama back in 2015, and Pan Wizards Steel Orchestra - came closest, with both scoring 270, eighteen points behind the winning band.
One week ago at the same venue, the junior arm of Angels Harps triumphed at the Junior Panorama.
