Finals: Order of Appearance for LARGE Steel Orchestras - Trinidad and Tobago National Panorama 2024
Trinidad & Tobago, W.I. - Eleven large steel orchestras compete in the ultimate steelband music competition - the annual Trinidad & Tobago National Panorama. After preliminary and semi-finals rounds, these bands which made the cut are expected to deliver stunning final night performances on stage at ‘Carnival City,’ Queen’s Park Savannah in Port-of-Spain.
The first set of the initial sixteen steel orchestras appeared before judges in their respective panyards/communities beginning January 21 in the North. Bands from the East, South/Central and Tobago regions followed suit.
Ten of the final bands intend to dethrone the 2023 champions Renegades Steel Orchestra, and the latter is equally determined to retain its title, and in the process, become the band with the most Panorama championships. If successful, it would be Renegades’ thirteenth title.
For the record, there is no large steel orchestra representation from sister isle Tobago in the 2024 Panorama finals. Buccooneers Steel Orchestra has been the Tobago qualifier in the recent past.
Seven-time Panorama champs Phase II Pan Groove are up first, while Renegades perform in the fourth spot. Supernovas Steel Orchestra brings the curtains down on the 2024 competition when they close off playing in the eleventh position. Scheduled start time for the Panorama is 7:00 p.m. AST (Atlantic Standard Time).
Following is the Order of Appearance for the final competition in the 2024 Trinidad & Tobago National Panorama - for the LARGE conventional steel orchestras, organized by Pan Trinbago.
