Results - Large Steel Orchestra Finals - Trinidad & Tobago National Panorama 2026 - Exodus Steel Orchestra with Arranger Terrance “BJ” Marcelle takes Championship

Trinidad & Tobago, W.I. - Exodus Steel Orchestra and Terrance “BJ” Marcelle got the job done for two years in a row; this time it was with Voice’s popular ‘Cyah Behave.’ As title defenders, they bested ten fellow competitors on finals night for the large conventional steel orchestras. This is the sixth national Panorama title for Exodus, and the second for “BJ” in the large band category. The competition was the final component in the 2026 Trinidad & Tobago National Panorama season, which is now in the history books.

Having led in the preliminaries and semi-finals, and putting on a sterling finals performance - both Renegades Steel Orchestra’s and ‘The Lizard‘s’ journey ended just short of their goal; running up to second place was as far as they got. Silver Stars placed third, going with sole arranger Ojay Richards for the first time. In previous years, Richards co-arranged with Kersh Ramsey, who this year also competed in this large band category with Katzenjammers Steel Orchestra, which was previously a medium band.

Eleven final night steel orchestras took the stage in the Queen’s Park Savannah in Port-of-Spain. Skiffle Steel Orchestra’s performance of ‘Cyah Behave’ was the curtain-closer for the competition at 12:39 a.m. local time. Results came less than fifteen minutes later - maybe record time for Panorama finals - at 12:53 a.m. Event organizer was Pan Trinbago.
