Results - Medium Steel Orchestra Finals - Trinidad & Tobago National Panorama 2026 - Pan Elders with Ojay Richards Cop Title

Trinidad & Tobago, W.I. - The third time was the charm for the music collaboration of Pan Elders Steel Orchestra and arranger Ojay Richards; they claimed the 2026 championship in the medium category of the 2026 Trinidad & Tobago National Panorama. Richards was been arranging for the music group since 2024. While Pan Elders has won this category six times, 2014–2019, consecutively, this is the first championship for Richards in this category. He is also the 2026 arranger for Silver Stars Steel Orchestra in the large band category, with that final night competition coming off Saturday February 14.

What changed were the competition date and venue - from February 8 to 9, and the Dwight Yorke Stadium in Tobago to the Queen’s Park Savannah in Port-of-Spain. What remained unchanged was the scintillating sound of competitive steel orchestras in final night competition—ten in total—each bringing the fervor to take the medium category’s 2026 championship title. What also remained the same were the placings for the top four spots. Pan Elders had toped the proceedings coming out of the semi-finals, followed by Sound Specialists of Laventille, Pamberi and Arima Angel Harps steel orchestras - as in the February 9 finals.
