LYRICS |

Verse
1
It was from a rusty drum, this element known as steel emerged
Around which, men of steel converged
And is the intense heat on the virgin drum, that produce the pan we play
Just like the pan men of today
We faced each ordeal,
Rejection unreal,
The pain we conceal,
And that is why we are men of steel.
Chorus
As real men we don't complain,
no matter the pain
We rise and we come again, great heights to attain Yuh cyar keep we down, no matter what you may feel
For we stand firm, we are men of steel.
Verse
2
Bit by bit we persevered, against every obstacle that came
Violence, pan men took the blame
And incarceration we had to endure, persecution evermore
Made us strong, right down to the core.
We faced each ordeal,
Rejection unreal,
The pain we conceal,
And that is why we are men of steel.
Chorus

Verse
3
When you see you heat the steel, you introduce a special hardness
To withstand, all kind of crisis
For the heat does yield a unifying bond, to make the man and steel one
Number one, when all said and done.
Chorus
