Semi-Finals: Order of Appearance for LARGE Steel Orchestras - Trinidad and Tobago National Panorama 2023

Trinidad & Tobago, W.I. - The line-up of large steel orchestras is set for the “Savannah Party” - the semi-finals competition of the 2023 Trinidad & Tobago National Panorama, which comes off Sunday February 5 at the Queen’s Park Savannah in Port-of-Spain. Preceded by the fifteen semi-finalists in the medium category, fourteen large steel orchestras will take their turn in an effort to make the ‘final cut.’

Fonclaire Steel Orchestra plays first, and Desperadoes Steel Orchestra follows in position number two. As the defending champion, Desperadoes has a lot of ground to make up given their placing in the preliminaries according to the panel of judges; a tie for twelfth spot - out of fourteen. Renegades Steel Orchestra is presently the top scorer, leading the pack going into the semis - and is playing in what could be viewed as the strongest position in this round - fourteenth.
