Results - Large Conventional Steel Orchestra Semi-Finals - Trinidad & Tobago National Panorama 2023
Trinidad & Tobago, W.I. - From the first notes of Fonclaire Steel Orchestra at 6:45 p.m., to Renegades Steel Orchestra’s final flourish at 12:22 a.m. the joyful sounds of pan filled the Savannah. After a hiatus of two Panorama seasons since 2021 due to COVID-19, the ‘Savannah Party,’ aka the 2023 Trinidad & Tobago National Panorama semi-finals returned to ‘The Big Yard,’ the stage at the Queen’s Park Savannah.
Steelband fans took in the performances of fourteen large steel orchestras which represented the second leg of the showcase. The music began hours earlier when the medium category featuring fifteen steel orchestras had their semi-finals starting not too long after 1:00 in the afternoon.
