Trinidad & Tobago, W.I. - Ten small steel orchestras continue in the preliminary phase of competition in the small conventional category of the 2024 Trinidad & Tobago National Panorama. Highlighted this time are the talents of panists in bands from the Northern region.
West Stars, The Diego Martin Merry Tones Steel Orchestra, T&T Defence Force Steel Orchestra, Cocorite West Wind and Harvard Harps are slotted in for Sunday December 10, 2023 performing in respective venues, with an expected start of 6:00 p.m.
The next group - Roadblock, St. Margaret’s Superstars, Trinidad & Tobago Music Stars, Highlanders and Tokyo Steel Orchestra - will be judged, also at respective venues, from 7:00 p.m. on Monday December 11.
All are trying to dethrone the reigning Small steel orchestra champions, Uptown Fascinators from sister isle Tobago.
