
Titled “Pan in de Sancoche,” the event promises “a little bit of this and a little bit of that” with Single Pan and Small conventional steel orchestras as the headline acts. Supporting performances include Traditional Mas characters and veteran calypsonians.
After three days of auditions, the selected bands - 15 Single Pan and 12 Small conventional steel orchestras - will each play a vintage calypso of not more than eight minutes duration.

Several additional cash incentives sponsored by corporate Trinidad & Tobago will be awarded based on performances. These include Best Performing Band, People’s Choice, and the Best Flag Waver.
Patrons can also participate as there will be a prize for the best-dressed male and female in retro outfits.
Tickets cost TT $150.00 - ‘Grand Stand’ seating only, and are available at the NCC (National Carnival Commission) Ticket Booth, Queen’s Park Savannah, and NCC Head Office, Gray Street, Port of Spain.
The venue is a safe zone opened to fully--vaccinated patrons and artists only. National COVID-19 protocols apply.
