Results - Medium Conventional Steel Orchestra Semi-Finals - Trinidad & Tobago National Panorama 2025
Trinidad & Tobago, W.I. - The semi-finals, aka the ‘Savannah Party’ was still officially underway when results were released not too long before midnight, local time. The large steel orchestras were still in the spotlight, and up to band number eleven at that point - Silver Stars Steel Orchestra.
As that band was setting up, the results for the Medium steel orchestras were announced, with the top ten moving forward to their finals on Sunday February 23. The medium bands had begun their semi-final performances circa 1:13 p.m. AST (Atlantic Standard Time) at the Queen’s Park Savannah in Port-of-Spain. The last band in that category wrapped up not long after 7:00 p.m. Judges were Roger Sardinah, Louis Nurse, Ezra Joseph, Bernadette Roberts, Michelle Dowrich, and Richard Pierre.
At the end of the competition, title defender Katzenjammers Steel Orchestra remains ‘the band to beat’ with the top score of 276 in the semi-finals. Rounding out the top three presently are Pan Elders and Couva Joylanders steel orchestras, respectfully. Both are past champions in this category.
The Dwight Yorke Stadium in Bacolet, sister isle Tobago is the venue for the finals for the Medium steel orchestra category in the 2025 Trinidad & Tobago National Panorama. Event organizer Pan Trinbago is going with a start time of 7:00 p.m.
