Results - Medium Conventional Steel Orchestra Semi-Finals - Trinidad & Tobago National Panorama 2026

Trinidad & Tobago, W.I. - Pan Elders performing Ojay Richard’s arrangement of Magician (I Command You) garnered top points in the medium category semi-finals of the 2026 Trinidad & Tobago National Panorama. Sound Specialists of Laventille which led coming out of the preliminaries came in second, while Pamberi rose from seventh to third.

After the playing field had been leveled, that is, all the steel orchestras meeting in the same musical arena for competition, ten of the sixteen medium semi-finalists are heading to the sister isle of Tobago for the February 8 finals. And in that, eight bands from Trinidad, with instruments and musicians in tow, make the journey across for the finals at the Dwight Yorke Stadium.

Medium steel orchestras from around the country took the stage at the Queen’s Park Savannah on February 1 for the category’s semi-finals. With Couva Joylanders closing off that leg of competition not long after 6:35 p.m. AST (Atlantic Standard Time), steelband lovers in both the North and Grand Stands had taken in hours of sun and steel.
