Results - Small Steel Orchestra Semi-Finals - Trinidad & Tobago National Panorama 2026

Trinidad & Tobago, W.I. - So, sixteen steel orchestras have been ‘invited’ to the final musical ‘dance’ that is the Panorama finals in the Small conventional category. After hours of intense competition on Saturday December 20, 2025 - remaining bands had to ‘call it a season’ as they were outshone, musically, by fellow competitors who are now this season’s finalists. Southern Stars Steel Orchestra (D’ South Band) is currently perched at the top with its presentation of ‘Let Us Build A Nation Together’ arranged by Duvone Stewart.

Steel orchestras Golden Hands and New East Side Dimension placed third and fourth respectively, and as defending co-champions will definitely be equally determined to not only ‘best’ Southern Stars - but each other. They also have to surpass Uptown Fascinators which won in 2023 and have been chomping at the musical bit to get back on top ever since. For the record, La Horquetta Pan Groove which was slated to perform in the third spot, withdrew from competition.

For the Panorama 2025 season past, the Small steel orchestra semi-finals fell on January 18, with the final night competition following one week later on Saturday January 25. This time, in the 2026 Panorama season underway - there is an unprecedented three weeks—twenty-one days—between the semifinals and finals competitions - December 20, 2025 and January 10, 2026. Wow.

The 2026 Trinidad & Tobago National Panorama season is organized by Pan Trinbago. Following are what have been posted as ‘unofficial results’ on the organization’s Facebook page - for the semi-final round of the 2026 competition for Small conventional steel orchestras.
