Preliminary Results for Medium Conventional Steel Orchestras - Trinidad & Tobago National Panorama 2019

Trinidad & Tobago, W.I. - Twenty-two medium conventional steel orchestras have completed the preliminary round of competition in the 2019 Trinidad & Tobago National Panorama season.  Judges took in the bands’ performances over a few days at their respective  panyards. Last year’s winner, Pan Elders Steel Orchestra, topped its category with 268.5 points; they performed a much-loved classic - “The Will” - by “Scrunter,” as their tune of choice, arranged by Duvone Stewart. The Pan Elders-Duvone Stewart collaboration is looking toward copping a sixth consecutive championship!

The top fourteen bands now move on to the semi-finals this Sunday February 17 being held at the Queen’s Park Savannah in Port-of-Spain. Scheduled start time is 1:00 p.m., and the medium bands will be followed on stage by the large steel orchestras in their segment.

Following are the full results for the preliminary phase of competition for Medium conventional steel orchestras.
