Numbers were pulled in alphabetical order of band names. Playing in position one is Fascinators Pan Symphony; the band had the top score after the preliminary results. Interestingly, also in a play on numbers, like Fascinators Pan Symphony - Northolus also “pulled” as they placed in the prelims - 26th, and are now playing in the semi-finals at number 26. And bands from the East will open the competition in the first four appearances for the afternoon, having drawn positions one through four. Uptown Fascinators of sister isle Tobago who are defending their title will play eighth.
Thirty-nine bands faced judges in preliminary competition from the four regions: South/Central, Tobago, North and East. Event organizer Pan Trinbago held the drawing for the semi-finals on Tuesday January 3.
