Semi-Finals: Order of Appearance for SMALL Steel Orchestras - Trinidad and Tobago National Panorama 2023

Trinidad & Tobago, W.I. - Thirty small steel orchestras qualified for the semi-finals after panyard judging in December 2022, and they have now drawn their playing positions for that next stage of competition on Saturday January 7, 2023 beginning 4:00 p.m. The venue is opposite Victoria Square, Park Street in Port-of-Spain.

Numbers were pulled in alphabetical order of band names. Playing in position one is Fascinators Pan Symphony; the band had the top score after the preliminary results. Interestingly, also in a play on numbers, like Fascinators Pan Symphony - Northolus also “pulled” as they placed in the prelims - 26th, and are now playing in the semi-finals at number 26.  And bands from the East will open the competition in the first four appearances for the afternoon, having drawn positions one through four. Uptown Fascinators of sister isle Tobago who are defending their title will play eighth.

Thirty-nine bands faced judges in preliminary competition from the four regions: South/Central, Tobago, North and East. Event organizer Pan Trinbago held the drawing for the semi-finals on Tuesday January 3.

Following is the Order of Appearance for semi-final competition in the 2023 Trinidad & Tobago National Panorama - for the SMALL conventional steel orchestras.
