Semi-Finals Order of Appearance for Small Steel Orchestras - Trinidad & Tobago National Steelband Panorama 2017
Trinidad & Tobago, W.I. - Putting their musical prowess on display at the Queen’s Park Savannah also known as “The Big Yard,” thirty small steel orchestras grace that stage in Port-of-Spain, Trinidad, on Sunday February 12 for the semi-final phase of competition in the country’s 2017 National Panorama competition.
In the eyes and ears of the respective panels of judges, the group represents the best of the small steel orchestras after the preliminary round. Defending small steelband champs Arima Golden Symphony will perform in position number four at the semis.
Their performances are combined with those of fourteen large and fourteen medium orchestras, which are also in contention for places in the finals in their respective category of competition.
Overall a total of 58 steel orchestras will perform at the
National Panorama Semi Finals on
Sunday February 12, 2017, at the Queen’s Park Savannah, Port-of-Spain,
from 9:00 a.m.
